Wasp Switching Products - Rotary Switches

WASP designs and manufactures a wide range of rotary switches which cover all the requirements of modern front panel technology. WASP has BS:EN:ISO9001:2008 approval and can offer a complete service from concept to production, including any necessary tooling. Each range is offered with standard switching arrangements, customised front end stainless steel spindle, and all are panel and spindle sealed. Whilst each switch has its own unique properties, our designs use standard parts that can be easily used to construct a customised switch.

ACTURN (detail)	WASP also make a Rotary Solenoid (ACTURN). This is a true rotary solenoid with no linear motion and gives a high torque for a device which only has a 35mm diameter. Since the design is for rotary motion only, the speed of action is extremely fast at 25 milliseconds on a 35-degree throw. The Acturn can be fitted with a spring return mechanism for single operation or can be used with a double acting unit to allow for two-way action.
